Episode 3. It’s time for another comparison between the English versions of Yo-Kai Watch. Episode 3 aired Oct 7th, 2015.
Same as last time, I am not going to talk about the subtle differences between the Japanese and English on the script.
Some changes were suitable but others I didn’t see the need.
Some cut scenes for this episode. Was it worth it? One was a joke that probably that couldn’t be translated for a joke and one was for spitting. Let’s not teach children to spit now!
As I am not going to write much about this episode I will now show you the paint edits throughout the episode. I may have missed some, if so feel free to let me know.
I will provide 2 pictures like before to show the comparison between both versions so that you can see the English edits from the Japanese version.
On top the Japanese while the bottom will be the English edits.
And there we have episode 3 done with. That’s everything I found in this episode. I few cuts this time around. A lot of a paint job edits. Some very nicely done, some I still wonder if there was any need to remove it.
(I do aapologies if there are any spelling or grammar mistakes. I noticed there was a few on my episode 1 article which then I went back to fix the errors. I am writing this late at night, it has just gone 3.15am all so writing scripts/articles is not my strong point. But waiting for a video for these will take longer.)
